These are more American than Danish, but very easy to make if you want to take something homemade to your mother, sister or mother-in-law.
200g of plain flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp bicarbonate
150g white chocolate drops
85g vegetable oil
3 tbsp of cold water
Pre-heat the oven and line two baking trays with parchment.
Mix all the dry ingredients together in which ever way you prefer.
Add the vegetable oil, and the 3 large tablespoons of cold water. Mix and leave in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. It really helps with the flavour.
Weigh out 50g balls, and place them with space apart as they do spread. Once you have done this, press them down with two fingers.
Bake in the oven at 180c/325f or gas mark 4 for 10 minutes. Leave on the trays for a few minutes and then using a spatula move them onto a rack.
